Beth Van Hoesen, a San Francisco artist known for the exquisite rendering of her subjects in quiet drawings and prints of universal appeal that are sometimes topically edgy, is represented in a solo exhibition spanning the vast range of her life’s woak. The works are those of encounters with everyday life – portraits of people, animals, flowers, birds and insects and the simple objects of daily life.
